Hotel Enza - Florence

I had an really good stay at a well-run family hotel with friendly staff eager to assist. The spacious room was beautifully refurbished with comfortable furniture, and the bathroom was immaculate, with a double-size shower. The breakfast offered a wide variety of fresh and nicely presented food, and the hotel owner took a personal interest in ensuring a pleasant visit. The location was excellent, close to scooter and bicycle rentals, a vibrant marketplace square, and an amazing restaurant called Zaza.

It was all superb.

Renovated building, brand new rooms. Clean and friendly staff. Great location near attractions, market, restaurant, and grocery store. Helpful services like luggage storage.

Location to train station was good.

There was no elevator and the stairs were very steep. The room needed a renovation badly. It was cramped and the bathroom was not cleaned very well. It could have used a good scrubbing around the shower stall. There weren't towel racks or hooks to hang towels.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. I would book the same same hotel if in town in the near future. Do 100% recommend this hotel to others. Was supposed to have a shared bathroom, but had a room with my own amazing bathroom.

This hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of many attractions and the train station. The rooms are spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. The staff is friendly and speaks English. The hotel offers free internet access and air conditioning. The breakfast, although basic, is a good value for the price.

The walls in some rooms are thin, which can result in noise from the reception area or neighboring rooms.

The staff was rude, not welcoming at all, and the room very small, everything very different from the description of the hotel, so we decided to change hotel, successfully, after one night.

Nothing Do not reccomend this hotel. We passed A Best Western and several other hotels in this location, my advice book one of those.

Completely renovated room with new furniture and bathroom. Clean and no night noises. Comfortable air conditioning and big walk-in shower. Excellent service provided by a wonderful family. Great location and very clean room. Safety for solo woman traveler. Wonderful breakfast. Hospitality and personalized service.

Nothing to dislike.

Overall a pleasant stay. Room had a somewhat neglected feel to it (spots on carpet, some loose plaster hanging from a spot on the ceiling) and smelled a little bit stuffy, but everything was clean. Beds were comfortable, air-conditioning worked nicely. Good location close to the train station, but in a rather bad neighborhood. This is a relatively old hotel, and I got the impression that the owner(s) do not want to invest more money into it than they have to. Staff was helpful and nice. Overall still a pleasant stay, and a good deal for the price.

The hotel is conveniently located near the market, train and bus stations, and bus stops for nearby attractions. The rooms are clean and tidy with comfortable beds and good showers. Guests can enjoy a delicious homemade breakfast with a variety of pastries and panini. The staff is friendly and helpful, providing excellent service to ensure a pleasant stay.

The breakfast room may be small, and guests may have to wait for a seat at peak times.

The receptionist during the night shift, during which we did our check in was very arrogant. We had to cancel our first night there due to health problems and he insisted that we had to pay for it as we did not cancel it early enough ... and this was not possible since we informed them as soon as the problem arised. He called his supervisor who was very understanding and who did not ask us to pay for that night. However he continued to insist with his supervisor that we did not inform them early enough.

The Staff was very nice. They stored our luggage for a few hours the day we departed, until we did some more sightseeing and came back with a rental car to pick up our bags. Our rooms were clean, bedding was nice, and bathroom facilities in good usable order. We had everything we needed. The AC worked good too.

I found nothing in particular that I really did not like about the hotel. It was in line with my expectations.
